Feeling anxious about an upcoming #interview? Follow these 3 quick and easy ticks for calming your nerves.
1. Shake out the nerves by moving your body for 60 seconds.
Whether you run in place, jump up and down, dance, etc., you will feel physically calmer afterwards!
2. Take long deep breaths.
Place one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach. Breathe in slowly through your nose, then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat this sequence 3 or more times until your heart rate has decreased.
3. Repeat positive affirmations aloud or in your head.
Remind yourself of your abilities by chanting something like “I am 100% prepared for this!” or “I am going to rock this interview!”.
